What is the Post Card Fulfillment Service?

postage stamp For our subscription customers, Client Discovery offers postcard design, printing, and fulfillment as a turnkey service. We focus on smaller quantities, typically 500 - 4,000, sent to a pre-qualified mailing list. Most of our clients send postcards to their mailing list which was created by Client Discovery's TeleMining or Transcription Service. We can also use mailing lists on disk or sent electronically. Client Discovery offers two types of postcard fulfillment services:

On-Demand Mailings - This service is primarily used to inform your customers of event-triggered occasions such as Mother's Day or a major sale. Simply let us know the quantity, the message, and to whom they should be sent. Client Discovery will design, print, and mail the postcards.
Automatic Distributed Mailings -- It's often preferable to set up a regular program which consistently sends messages to your customers. Using this system, a portion of your mailing list will automatically be mailed each week or month. This creates a constant flow of marketing which, in turn, brings in a constant flow of customers. Once set up, the system is automatic and the computers at Client Discovery make sure each person on the mailing list receives the correct number of mailings per year.

What kind of results can I expect?

With Client Discovery, staying in touch with your customers has never been easier. Mailing and marketing to them will result in better returns than any other system of marketing. Currently we are seeing a 5 to 10 percent response rate -- that's 10 to 20 times more effective than marketing to a commercial list.

When the postcard includes an incentive (gift or a discount) your customers are more likely to bring the card back. Until a new card has been proven effective, we recommend small test mailings with various offers. You can determine which incentives produce the best response rates, and compare future mailing campaigns to these rates. Over time, you will develop an arsenal of proven mail pieces that will consistently produce the desired results.

Tell me about postcard design options.

You may use your own postcard design, or we can develop a custom design. Choose any of our stock designs without a design fee. We do not charge for slight changes in a card design if they can be done in one half hour or less. Normally, postcards are 4.5" x 5.5". The minimum size allowed by the postal service is 3.5" x 5".

Will you process my pre-printed postcards?

Yes, we will be happy to do so. However, the price may need to be adjusted. Since we normally print and address postcards four to a page, it is best if your printer provides cards 4-up on 8 ½ x 11" stock. If your provided postcards do not meet this criterion, it will be slightly more expensive to process them. We will work with you to achieve the most economical processing method possible.

Will you print or mail brochures, flyers, menus, or sales letters?

No, that is not our specialty. But you can print labels on your own printer, directly from your private account on the Client Discovery web site. These labels can be applied to anything you would like to mail.
