TeleMining

yellow pages fingersYou paid for Yellow Pages, fliers, banners, billboards, brochures or TV ads. Every day your phone rings from potential customers, current customers and other people interested in your business. It would be impossible to find better prospects for future business than these callers. They have the need, the want, they are taking action, and they are ready to buy. It would be a marketing crime not to get their names, addresses, and phone numbers.

telephone keypadStay in touch with your current customers and grow a new customer database with a unique service, TeleMining. By combining 21st century telecommunications technology and old-fashioned customer relationship marketing, Client Discovery has developed a proprietary customer identification and list generation service that automatically identifies the customers and prospects that call your business. The actual names and addresses of these callers are added into you web accessible customer database. Even more amazing is that you can download, sort and print "ready to mail" labels from the Client Discovery web site to your own personal printer.

With TeleMining, it has never been easier to reach and keep the people most likely to patronize your establishment - your most recent callers and customers.

How Does TeleMining Work?

TeleMining is a monthly subscription service that automatically generates customer addresses and mailing labels from caller data. The service relies on a small proprietary device, the Scout, installed next to your phone lines.the Scout caller id unit The Scout captures caller information on all inbound telephone traffic, and transmits the data automatically to Client Discovery's Data Center. There, computers analyze the telephone information and perform several functions:

  • Phone numbers are matched with the caller's name and address.
  • Addresses are checked and corrected with the US Postal Service database and zip plus 4 is added.
  • So your customers can be pin-pointed on maps, the exact longitude and latitude is added.
  • The distance in tenths of a mile is calculated and added to your mailing list database. This allows you to concentrate your mailings to customers within a defined radius from your business.
  • To save mailing and printing costs the duplicate and phony addresses are removed.
  • Calls from employees, vendors, family members or businesses are identified.

This complete set of customer data is added to your customer database on the Client Discovery web site. On this password-protected site, you can view, sort, print or download your database. You can even print mailing labels directly on your own printer.

How will TeleMining help with Marketing?

Your marketing effectiveness will dramatically improve when you know EXACTLY where your customers live. You should, for example, increase advertising in areas where existing customers live and decrease advertising in other areas.

  • Visualize, segment, target or mail to your customers. The web site lets you sort your list by name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, or distance from your business. You set the parameters, to meet your marketing objectives.
  • Create your own customer distribution maps with your customers' longitude and latitude data. This is done with Microsoft's Mappoint software or Client Discovery's optional Mapping Service.
  • For in-depth marketing studies, your customer database can be quickly imported into spreadsheet or database programs such as Microsoft's Excel, Access or ACT.
  • Conduct customer surveys via phone or mail.

Potential customers usually live near existing customers. It is smart marketing to promote your business to their neighbors. A mailing list of neighbors can be created with Client Discovery's optional Nearest Neighbor Service.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect?

Mailing and marketing to your best customers and people that have shown an interest in your business will result in better returns than any other system of marketing. You can expect a 5 to 10 percent response rate - that is 10 to 20 times more effective than marketing to a generic list.

Does Client Discovery offer mailing services?

A complete Postcard Fulfillment service is available for our subscription clients. We design, print, address and mail postcards on a one-time or recurring basis.

What can be done with a customer database?

Remember, the people in your customer database have shown an interest in your business. Because they are your best prospects, is it critical to stay in touch with them on a consistent basis. Client Discovery's web site makes the task quick, simple and easy by allowing you to print address labels on your own printer. Use your labels to:

  • Mail postcards, flyers, letters, menus, loyalty punch cards, refrigerator magnets or brochures.
  • Send special event notifications.
  • Alert customers of an upcoming sale.
  • Invite them to wine tastings or special dinners.
  • Tell them about specials or new products.
  • Remind customers of your additional services.
  • Send two-for-one offers.
