Client Discovery's Voice Response Survey Service provides business owners a simple and inexpensive way to track customers' perceptions and opinions using automated surveys that can be conducted over the telephone. For your business, it is the ideal way to gather your customers' input, capture their names and addresses, and encourage them to come back for another visit. How does Voice Response Survey work?

  • Your customer receives an invitation to call a telephone number and participate in a brief survey. The invitation can be in the form of a randomly generated receipt, a printed card presented during a visit, a card distributed via postal mail or e-mail, or a telephone call. In exchange for participating in the survey, your customer is offered an incentive such as a free or discounted item on their next visit.
  • The customer then calls the phone number and responds to a recorded survey, using touch tones, or recorded voice to leave comments.
  • The system can also ask your customer additional questions, for example, "Would you like to sign up for a free dinner on your birthday?" If the customer agrees, the Voice Response Survey Service will ask them to speak their name, address, and birthday.
  • Once your customer has completed the survey, the system supplies an incentive code number which can be redeemed at a future visit.
  • The telephone monitoring system captures the customer's phone number using Caller ID technology, matching the phone number to name and address information.
  • The results of the Voice Response Survey including name and phone number of callers, their numeric answers and verbal responses are made available through your private account on the Client Discovery web site. Reports show the summary data for various time periods.
  • Client Discovery can also transcribe verbal answers at an additional charge.

What Reports are Available?

Individual touch tone responses, verbal responses, and reports are available any time on line. Both detailed and summarized reports are available. They include the Caller's name, phone number, and address (if available). Touch tone numeric answers are summarized on a weekly and monthly basis. You can listen to the verbal responses on your computer via the web site.
